The secret's out: Korean skincare is light years ahead of American skincare, at least ingredient-wise. A lot of recently popular (and newly accepted) ingredients like snail slime and bee venom, have been widely available in Korean products for a long time now (they've been in products in the US as well, but mostly secretly, or in a "luxury" setting. It always amused me to tell people one of the first ingredients in the It Cosmetics CC Cream is snail slime). I'm still kind of surprised that there are still people who refuse to try these (kinda-sorta) new-to-the-US skincare ingredients because they think they're gross or unsanitary.
Originally, Memebox was based in Korea (it technically still is), but now they have a branch in the US; all the products on Memebox.com ship from inside the US, so shipping is inexpensive (free shipping on any orders $35+) and quick. Yay! Memebox used to be focused on boxes (hence the name), but now they are more focused on individual products. You can still buy value/mystery boxes, though, and this is one such value box (it's not a mystery, though).
For $8, you get a lot of products to sample, and you get almost a whole skin care routine, including a cleanser, toner, essence, moisturizer, and face mask. If you end up liking any of these products enough to purchase the full size, they are readily available and easy to purchase directly from Memebox. If you're looking to try out some K-Beauty products, or are particularly interested in trying things from the brand Benton, I would highly recommend checking out this box!
