Holiday 2015 Allure Beauty Thrills Box - Unboxing and First Impressions!

Hello! I hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my Holiday 2015 Allure Beauty Thrills Box.
Such a mysterious white box...heavy, too. According to my tracking it was a little over 13 pounds. If you read my post about the last Allure Beauty Thrills box (or if you just know about the Allure Beauty Thrills boxes in general), you'll know how jam packed this box is with goodies! Everything in this box is full size and add up to a total value of over $400. These boxes come out three times a year (approximately every four months) and sell for $49.95 each. Shipping is $10 and, after tax, my total for this box was about $67. For over $400 worth of products, it was totally worth it! This is not a subscription box, though you can pre-order all three of them for the year; I believe it is a little more expensive to do it that way, but it also saves you the headache of trying to order them when they release (since these are high value boxes, they sell out incredibly fast and not everyone is able to get one).

Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Studded Kiss Lip Set - Swatch & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my swatch and review of the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Studded Kiss Lip Set.
Kat Von D is a Sephora exclusive brand (it's actually made by Sephora; it tends to be higher quality than the Sephora in-house brand so the higher price tag is generally worth it) and for the holidays, they released two Mi Vida Loca Remix special edition sets: this Studded Kiss lipstick set and an eye shadow palette. I purchased this with my VIB Rouge 20% off coupon, and I debated between this set and the eye shadow palette. Unfortunately, the eye shadow palette is no longer available; I believe this is due to the fact that it has bright, vibrant colors that may be made out of pigments that are not FDA approved; these types of pigments are not FDA approved only because they have not been cleared as safe, it does not necessarily mean that they are not safe. They are cleared for eye use in the European Union, which has stricter safety requirements for cosmetics than the US. I love this set and I am happy I purchased it, I just wish I had gotten the eye shadow palette when it was still available!

Beauty Haul Time! - Sephora VIB Sale, Ulta, and More!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share some of my recent beauty purchases with you! Over the last month or so, there have been a ton of great deals out there and while I've been able to resist many of them (...or they sell out before I can get them), I have taken advantage of a few here and there.

I know I've been mostly avoiding posting hauls on my blog since they end up being really long and are probably boring to read, but since I haven't been posting videos on YouTube (which is where my hauls usually go), I still wanted a way to share some of my thoughts about my purchases, especially the ones that don't warrant their own posts (though there are some items that I will make separate, more in depth posts about). Hmm, I think that is a run-on sentence. I had a lot of thoughts I wanted to express at once...

OPI Starlight Collection - Winter 2015 - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share with you guys my swatches and review of the OPI Starlight collection for Winter 2015!
Pa-pow! How gorge (gorg? What is the proper short form of "gorgeous"?) is this color? This is Ce-Less-Tial Is More and it was the polish I new I needed from this collection the moment I first saw the colors on OPI's website. I ended up purchasing nine out of the eighteen colors, which is a lot for me from one collection. ...Ulta had a lot of good sales on OPI. Actually, I think they still have some deals going on until Christmas, so if you like any of these, go pick them up on sale!

November 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Awareness - Indie Subscription - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my November 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month.
Glamour Doll Eyes is one of my favorite indie cosmetic companies and was my first foray into the world of indie makeup! Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE) is everything you could want; great products, a wide variety of colors, and excellent customer service. Plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping to directly support someone and their creativity. GDE also offers a special subscription service called Of The Month (OTM) which always includes a special eye shadow (the Of The Month, if you will). All the OTMs are themed and for November, it revolves around Diabetes and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness (both are observed in the month of November).

November 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Beauty Blast - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys my November 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag!
Interesting products this month; not as great as Birchbox, but still leagues better than my Allure Beauty Box. One dud for sure (which I'll get to shortly), but definitely worth the $10 admittance price. Looks like we're continuing with the short intro trend...

November 2015 Birchbox - Holiday Pampering - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my November 2015 Birchbox!
Ooo, pretty! This was actually a really good box, despite the fact that I got a dry shampoo (from a brand that I really don't like, no less) and a shower gel; two things that can really bring down a box for me.

November 2015 Allure Beauty Box - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my November 2015 Allure Beauty Box.
Yeah...going to be up front with you guys; I was pretty disappointed with this box. Considering that this is a $15 a month subscription (plus tax, so it's more like $16 something), not a very good group of products. Especially considering how the theme for this month is "The Glam Life" and in the "Letter From The Editor" intro in the beginning of the info booklet (I guess it's actually called the mini mag), I just don't get it. The only truly glamorous product in this box is the L'Occitane Divine Youth Oil. But we'll get to that in a moment!

October 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Indie Subscription! - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my October 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month subscription bag!
Glamour Doll Eyes is an indie cosmetics company (which is seriously awesome and I can't stress enough the high quality of both their products and their customer service) and each month they release a special subscription pigment called the Of The Month. In the Of The Month (hereafter called the OTM), you are guaranteed the OTM shadow and some extra goodies, either from Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE from now on) or from other indie companies. The OTM is $10 a month, which includes shipping (I think technically the subscription is $8 a month with $2 shipping. It ships internationally, but the shipping increases so it will cost a bit more) and it is very difficult to get since there are only about 120 spots open and people rarely cancel.

For October, Vee (the owner of GDE) decided to go with a Dexter theme! Another awesome thing about the GDE OTM is that all the products adhere quite closely to the theme; they aren't picked willy-nilly as seems to be the case with bigger subscription services.

October 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Alter Ego - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post I want to share with you my October 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag... December. I've been very neglectful for a while now (pretty much ever since I moved), and the longer I put things off, the less I feel motivated to post about them. I haven't made a YouTube video in months as well and, as much as I want to get back in the swing of things, it's been surprisingly difficult. Part of the reason why I've been putting these things off is that, in order to get caught up at this point, I will have to make numerous posts a day and that can be a little overwhelming. I know I can set the date and time for a post to help artificially spread them out, but I really want to get these things off my desk and into my life!

October 2015 Allure Beauty Box - Unboxing & Review

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys an unboxing and review of my October 2015 Allure Beauty Box.
Look at all those goodies! Again, I do not have a video to embed for this unboxing and, honestly, I'm not sure when I will start making them again. It's not that I don't like making videos, but there are still a lot of changes going on in my life and it's become stressful to find the time where I can make them. Heck, it's been hard to find the time to even blog about things (...evident by the fact that it's November 17th and I am writing about an October box). But you didn't come here to read my excuses; you came here to see the October 2015 Allure Beauty Box so let's get to it!

October 2015 Birchbox - Positive Force - Unboxing & Review

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my October 2015 Birchbox.
Pretty! And also off-center. Hmm. You also might notice that I don't have a Youtube video about this box to embed in this post; I don't know why, but it's been kind of hard for me to film lately. Bad timing, bad lighting, not feeling well, not having time...there always seems to be something that gets in the way. Which I think means that I just don't really want to film right now, even though I might not want to admit it to myself. I've been going through some life changes again and it's been hard to find motivation to do much of anything really. So I apologize for my lack of posting and filming and I hope that you still find these interesting and informative, if somewhat late.
With the month of October, companies seem to go one of two ways: Halloween or breast cancer awareness. Birchbox went with the latter and (unfortunately) partnered with Estee Lauder (it's kind of a long story and a soapbox topic of mine, but basically Estee Lauder wanted to purchase the idea of using a pink ribbon to support breast cancer awareness and use it as a marketing thing from the lady that came up with it and she refused to sell. Instead of dropping the idea, Estee Lauder changed the color of the ribbon slightly and now uses it to push their products in the month of October. It is important to be aware of breast cancer and to be able to talk about it freely, but it's not okay to use it to sell products) and released two specially curated boxes of Estee Lauder products. I went with my normal, surprise box and just picked my sample choice.

Small Birchbox Haul - OPI Floss Gloss, Marcelle, & Periperi - Reviews!

Hello! I hope you're having a great day! For this post I want to share with you guys a pretty small Birchbox haul.

Since it is such a small haul, I also wanted to take time to do a little more in-depth review of each item. Mostly, though, I wanted to share this haul since, with my Birchbox points and using a coupon for 20% off a $35+ purchase, I got all these items shipped for less than $5. Which is awesome.

September 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Face Fashion - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! I hope you're all having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys my September 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag!
...yeah, I know, it's like the middle of October. Nearing the end of October. And I'm looking at my October Ipsy Glam Bag right now (it's sitting on top of the stack of boxes I'm using in place of my tripod). Granted, I got this bag very near the end of September (Ipsy has been having some very weird shipping times lately; I see unboxing pics on Instagram like a week before I even get my shipping notification), but. Yeah.

Anyways! Let's not dwell on things and see what I got in my September bag instead!

September 2015 Allure Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! I hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys the newest subscription box I have subscribed to:
The Allure Beauty Box! After seeing all the goodies that were in the September box, I decided to try this service out. It's a little more expensive at $15 a month instead of the $10 each for Birchbox and Ipsy, and it doesn't offer any reward programs (at least to my knowledge), but you seem to get bigger samples and/or full sizes of more expensive products. September seemed especially jam-packed:
See? All that for $15? And that includes shipping? Yes, please!

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick - Influenster Voxbox - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys an extra special Influenster Voxbox: the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Voxbox!
I was lucky enough to recieve the last YSL Influenster Voxbox featuring the Touche Eclat primers, and I was even more lucky to get into the Rouge Pur Couture Voxbox! In this box, we received two of the new Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks: 19 Fuchsia and 09 Rose Stiletto.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick - Stone Fox, Vintage, and Sway - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share with you guys three colors of the new Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks from NYX!
This was a much anticipated release from NYX, and after purchasing and trying these guys, I totally understand all the hype. These are liquid lipsticks that dry down to a budge-proof, water-proof matte finish. I like to think of them as Soft Matte Lip Creams but 500x better. Seriously. These retail for $6.99 each ($7 on the NYX website, $6.99 at Ulta, where they are also on sale right now for buy two get one free) and are currently completely out of stock online. I got mine from Ulta, because I know how long it can take for products to restock on the NYX website. I don't know if other NYX retailers, like Target, currently have these in stock as well, nor what their prices are, but I assume they're the same as Ulta. While I wanted all of the colors, I went with three that were most unique to my makeup collection (though I knew for sure that I needed Stone Fox).

Haul Time - Tons Of Nail Polish! China Glaze, Zoya, OPI, and More - Plus Swatches!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I have quite a bit of nail polish, along with swatches, that I wanted to share with you.
I know, this is the same video I linked in my last post, but I wanted to spread things out so I could spend a little more time discussing them here. I will say though, I do have a lot of polish to talk about, so hopefully this post doesn't get away from me...

So, without further ado, let's get started!

LORAC Alter Ego Lipstick - Show Girl and Sex Kitten, Plus Goddess Lip Gloss! - Swatch & Review

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys two more LORAC Alter Ego lipsticks that I recently purchased!

My video is my big haul, but I wanted to include some live swatching along with my photos. I've done a review and swatch post on my other LORAC Alter Ego lipsticks, so I won't wax too poetically about the formula (which is amazing) and focus mainly on the colors.

MAC Real Redhead Lipstick - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! This is going to be a super quick swatch and review post of MAC's Real Redhead lipstick.
I'm already a huge fan of MAC lipsticks; in fact, I feel comfortable saying they're in my top three, if not the top, favorite brands of lipstick. The color selection is vast, the formula is excellent, there are a bunch of different finishes to choose from, and they smell like vanilla. Plus, the containers are sleek and smooth and very elegant. So it's no surprise that, on a mini quest to find a good "my lips but better" lipstick color, that my first and last stop was my MAC counter.

September 2015 Birchbox - Better Together - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you guys my September 2015 Birchbox!
The theme this month was "Better Together" and it was supposed be a celebration, the Birchbox subscribers! The design for this months box was based on the mood boards of three very special subscribers, Debbie Savage, Sara Qadeer, and Angela Coppola. I really love the different, colorful boxes we've been getting each month and I am curious to see what Birchbox is going to have us do with them at the end of the year.
Aw, thank you Birchbox!

September 2015 Target Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my September 2015 Target Beauty Box.

Technically, this is not a subscription box since you can't subscribe to it (which would be the definition of a subscription service...) and it also technically isn't a monthly box since there are no promises that it releases monthly, but Target has been offering these sample boxes pretty much on a monthly basis for a little while now.

These boxes are incredibly popular and sell out very quickly, so I consider myself lucky to have gotten my hands on this one! Admittedly, one of the reasons why I think I was able to snag one was that this box included mostly curly hair related products and no color cosmetics, but since I do have curly hair and am always looking for products for my hair, this box was perfect for me!
If you're interested in getting one of these boxes in the future, I highly recommend following Nouveau Cheap (either on her blog or on her Instagram) since she releases the spoilers for what's in the boxes, along with release dates. Plus she gives you a ton of reminders on Instagram!

September 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Sixteen Candles - Indie Subscription Unboxing!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my September 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month; the theme for September 2015 is the movie Sixteen Candles!

My video is a two-for-one with my August 2015 GDE OTM since they shipped together (you can either watch the video or read my other post to see why), but I wanted to do individual posts since I find it easier to get into a lot more detail that way.

Admittedly, I've only seen Sixteen Candles once and that was years ago (the movie itself is three years older than I am) so the references are kind of lost on me, but that's okay because I still love all the products and colors.
The baggie my OTM came in is super cute and floraly!

August 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - The Little Mermaid - Indie Subscription Unboxing!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my August 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month subscription bag!
You're getting two-for-one in the video for reasons explained below!

We're still going back in time, but not as far as the last post (which was my June 2015 GDE OTM...). I had some issues with shipping with my August OTM, but everything worked out in the end. I also really want to give a shout out to Vee, the owner and creator of Glamour Doll Eyes since she was super helpful and patient with me throughout the whole ordeal. It ended up getting shipped to my old address, then getting shipped back since it was deemed undeliverable as addressed (even though I have postal forwarding so it should have just been forwarded to my new address as it's technically a package, but that's an issue with the post office and has nothing to do with Glamour Doll Eyes), then Vee kindly shipped it back to my correct address along with my September 2015 OTM.

It was definitely worth the wait since: a. all OTMs are awesome, and b. it was Little Mermaid themed!
I love how the baggie it came in is red like Ariel's hair and has printed sequins, like fish scales! Also you can vaguely see the shadow of my head, which is kind of ominous...hmm.

June 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - #girlsnightout - Indie Subscription Unboxing!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! We're going to time travel again, this time all the way back to June. For this post, I want to share with you guys my June 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month subscription!
I really debated whether or not I was going to make this post since: a. it's so far back, b. I don't have a video to go along with it, and c. I don't have a video, or even pictures, of the July bag, so I won't be making a post about that one. I decided to make this post because Vee, the owner of Glamour Doll Eyes, puts a lot of effort into her subscription service, and I think it's only fair to show you guys how awesome it is! Plus, you can occasionally purchase past OTMs, so it is still kind of, sort of, relevant.

August 2015 Birchbox - Soak It Up! - Unboxing and Review

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! We're going to go through a bit of a time warp here and I'm going to try and finally get everything ancient posted and off my desk. It's getting quite cluttered (as usual) and I don't find myself using products until I move them into my actual makeup collection so I'm basically wasting money by not posting about them! Not sure how much I'm going to get through today, but we'll see! I still want to stick with my plan of trying to do shorter, more individual reviews instead of big hauls, but it might be tricky since I have to go back and take some more detailed photos of a lot of things.

For starters, let's take a peek at my August 2015 Birchbox!
Incidentally, I have already received my September 2015 Birchbox so...yeah. I'm super late. Hopefully you still find this somewhat relevant and perhaps even entertaining (I know one of my favorite things is to go back and look up reviews/unboxings of past subscription boxes when I'm bored).

August 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Prep School - Unbagging and Review!

Hello! Hope you're all having a great day! Um, let's just ignore the fact that I've been a bit M.I.A. lately; transitions, travel, work, and all that jazz make Kulla a very tired girl. Not that blogging is that strenuous, but it's hard sometimes to work up the motivation to take pictures and what-not. Actually, it's mostly just the picture taking part. Even though I have much better lighting now, I still only have a limited amount of time to take good pictures and I spend most of that time at work!

Excuses aside, let's talk about my August 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag!

...even though it is September, I haven't received my September Glam Bag yet, so I don't feel quite so behind the times.

Allure Beauty Thrills Box - August 2015 - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I'm starting to feel like I'm getting back in the swing of things with blogging/vlogging! I made a bunch of videos today and it felt good to be filming again. Not to mention that my family is coming to visit soon and I need to go through my stuff and figure out what I want to give to my mom...

For this post I want to share with you guys my August 2015 Summer Allure Beauty Thrills box!
Ohhhh! 13 pounds of full sized beauty products...
Ahhh! For a little under $60! There is a ton of great stuff in this box and I'm really happy I was able to get my hands on it! If you'd prefer to watch my video, you can do so here:

There's a lot of stuff in this box...

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Perfectors VoxBox - Plus Where I've Been!

Hello! I hope you're all having a great day!'s been a while, hasn't it? Like over a month. Actually, I don't think I made a single blog post or video for the entire month of July. And it's about a week into August. And I'm very sorry for my absence! I really missed blogging and vlogging, but July was a very busy, very intense month for me. I was reaching the breaking point with our upstairs neighbors and how loud and obnoxious they were and how little sleep I was getting because of it. Add that to a bunch of life stuff and I ended up exhausted and depressed and just over everything. So! My husband and I ended up moving and (after a shaky start) I think that once everything settles down, we'll be much happier, healthier people here. And I'll be able to go back to blogging and vlogging! Starting with this post!
Near the end of July, I got a very special Influenster Voxbox - the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Perfectors Voxbox!
Ooo, fancy!

NYX HD Blush - HDB22 Taupe - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post I wanted to take a super quick look at the Nyx HD Blush in the color Taupe!
The HD Blushes are a marginally new item for Nyx and they describe them as "A high definition, lightweight blush that blends evenly. This vibrant and silky blush delivers a beautiful flush of color and is paraben free.". I like the sleek, black plastic packaging of these blushes, especially since they're very tricky to depot (my friend tried and ended up completely shattering hers) because of how lightweight (they're really powdery, but in a good way) they are.

Revlon Perfumerie Nail Polish - Spun Sugar - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to talk really quick about another Revlon Perfumerie nail polish I picked up, this time in Spun Sugar!
The Revlon Perfumerie collection is a line of scented nail polishes! These aren't the first scented nail polishes ever, but they are some of the more mainstream, easily available ones. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), this line is on clearance at Ulta, which is where I picked up mine. This is my second polish from this collection, the other being Beachy.

Another Sephora Mini Haul! - Formula X Nail Polish and 100-Point Rewards!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post I have a super mini haul from Sephora for you! It's literally a single nail polish, plus a couple 100-point rewards.

This is actually part of a bigger haul, but I'm trying to keep my posts smaller and more bite-sized; I love watching huge, long haul videos, but I know reading them can be a bit of a bore!

Sephora Mini Haul! - Sephora Collection Music Festival Kit, OCC After Dark Stained Gloss Test Tube Set, and a Ton of Samples!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you a Sephora mini haul!

This haul was part of a larger haul, but I'm still trying to make more "bite-size" posts instead of giant haul posts that, admittedly, can be kind of long and dull. It's fun to watch big haul videos, but less fun to read about them!

I placed this order when Sephora was running a special where you could pick three deluxe sized samples with your $25+ order instead of just one. I hemmed and hawed over this order for a day or so, so I ended up not being able to get two of the samples I had originally wanted, but I still really like what I got.

Darling Clandestine Summer Bitsy Grab Bag - Indie Perfume! - First Impressions

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I want to share with you my Darling Clandestine Summer Bitsy Grab Bag!

Darling Clandestine is an independent perfume company owned and operated by the wonderful Evonne where you can find unique fragrances. Darling Clandestine (DC from here on out) is located in Texas and offers fragrances in oil and solid form, as well as full and bitsy sizes (a full size oil is about 0.5oz and a bitsy fills a one-dram vial; a full size solid is about 0.5oz and a bitsy is about 3g). Currently, DC has their "regular" stock of fragrances, along with a few extra summer ones!
For this order, I got a summer bitsy grab bag! You could have purchased all of these individually, but I like surprises and you end up saving a little bit purchasing this way (the grab bag is $20; bitsy vials are $5, bitsy solids are $4 and I got three vials and two solids). The summer collection is technically no longer available (except for the left overs), so some of these scents you won't be able to get until next year. but you can still get bitsy grab bags that could contain scents from any season, including summer!

June 2015 Julep Maven Box - Boho Glam Plus Add-Ons! - Unboxing, Swatches, & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post I want to share with you my June 2015 Julep Maven Box!
Julep Maven is a monthly subscription service that let's you "preview" a new collection of Julep nail polishes and beauty products each month (the products will be available to purchase individually, but you get to try them first and you get them at a reduced price). Julep is an semi-independent beauty company that started as a nail salon in Seattle, WA (which I have had a manicure at!). At first they mainly focused on nail polish and nail/hand care goods, but have since expanded to makeup, skin care, and hair care. Out of all of my subscriptions, Julep Maven is the one I've been subscribed to longest since they give you the option to skip on your box each month! There have been times when I didn't have the extra money or I wasn't interested in the new products and, instead of having to unsubscribe, and I've just skipped a few months. Since you can skip your box each month (you used to have to wait six months before you could skip, but I think you can do it right away now), and being Maven gives you perks such as a 20% discount on anything in the Julep store (I also think it still works in the salons as well) and access to the Secret Store, if you're interested in these products I would recommend signing up! You can use my referral link here and I will be forever grateful (plus I think you can get your first box for like $3) or you can just go to the Julep website itself.
The subscription is $24.99 a month, which includes shipping. Because I'm still on the old system, my boxes are $19.99, but I don't get as many customization options as the newer system.

Aromaleigh Mini Haul - Indie Cosmetics - Purple Blush!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share with you guys my most recent mini haul from Aromaleigh!
Aromaleigh is an independent cosmetic company that was founded in 1998, making it one of the oldest ones out there! They make loose face and eye products and are well known for their excellent formulations and have many, many colors available in collections themed on mythology, science, and fandoms (and more!).
Starting in April, Aromaleigh has been releasing a special mini collection each month called the Menagerie; an "offshoot of the Color of the Month series. The Menagerie will feature a range of products in more daring and experimental shades and finishes, which are themed around each mythical creature COTM" (quoted directly from the website).
April was the Leshy and a blue blush; this month brings us the Hydra and a purple blush!

MAC Morange Lipstick -Swatch & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I just wanted to do a quick swatch and review of my MAC Morange lipstick from the Wash & Dry summer 2015 collection!
So pretty! If you're familiar with MAC, you'll know that Morange is a color in the permanent range and not a color limited to the Wash & Dry collection. I really wanted to get something from the Wash & Dry collection because I love special edition packaging, but nothing else is the collection was all that appealing to me. So, technically, I paid about $1.50 more for this lipstick than I needed to. But it was totally worth it!

Sephora Favorites Bronze Bares-All Set - Unboxing, Swatches, & First Impressions!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to take a more in-depth look at the Sephora Favorites Bronze Bares-All set!

This was part of my #TreatYoSelf haul (if you're getting sick of seeing these products, don't worry, it's almost over!), but I did a separate video on it (and now this separate blog post) since I wanted to take time to swatch and talk about my first impressions about all the fun products in this collection.

I love these Sephora Favorites sets and I love bronze colors for summer, so I was really excited when pictures of this set first showed up on Instagram! I kept checking to see if this set would pop up in store, but I have yet to see it in the wild. I ended up purchasing my Bronze Bares-All kit online, which actually ended up being better since I got a special bonus sample!
Ooo, look at all the pretties!

Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Vol. 2 - Artistic - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to take a more in-depth look at my new Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Vol. 2 - Artistic! This palette was part of my recent #TreatYoSelf haul, but I also did a separate video with my first impressions and live swatches.
I've had my eye on this palette for a while now, and I purchased it from as soon as I had the extra money. I've heard a lot of really good things about MUFE's gel-powder formula and, since I've never owned any MUFE shadows before, I figured a palette would be the best way to experience them!
I believe you can buy all the colors included in this palette separately, but at $42 for nine different shadows, I would recommend picking up the palette if many of these colors interest you.

Korean Skincare Haul From Forever21 & Urban Outfitters - PureDerm, Baroness, Lassie'el, The Face Shop, & Kocostar!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post I wanted to share with you guys some Korean skincare products that I picked up from Forever21 and Urban Outfitters! This is another chunk from my #TreatYoSelf haul, which you can watch in it's entirety here:
If you've watched my videos or read some of my blog posts, you'll know that I'm a huge fan of Korean (and Asian) skincare products. I feel like Korean skincare is a lot more focused on using really good, effective ingredients, regardless of how "weird" they are (the best example of this is snail mucus) and taking your time to treat your skin right. A lot of American skincare products seem more focused on speed and being inexpensive, and I feel that the quality of products suffers because of that.

Luckily, it seems to be getting easier and easier to find Korean skincare products here in the US, even if you don't live near an import store (it's much easier to get imported stuff on the coasts, for obvious reasons). Two well known retailers, Forever21 and Urban Outfitters, carry a pretty good selection of Korean products (Sephora is starting to carry a lot more Korean brands as well, which is exciting!) for fairly reasonable prices.

Nail Polish Haul and Swatches - OPI, China Glaze, Formula X, and Models Own!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I'm continuing with more bite-sized chunks of my #TreatYoSelf haul, this time focusing on the nail polishes I got! If there's one makeup product that I am truly an addict for and/or collector of, it's nail polishes. They come in pretty much any color and finish you can think of, and what I especially like is that they very rarely go bad; most of the time they dry up slightly and you just need to add a little nail polish thinner (please don't ever use nail polish remover to thin your polishes! It will ruin them in the long run) to get it back to normal.

As with all these posts, I'm going to include the #TreatYoSelf haul video (unless the product(s) I'm talking about have a video of their own, which a few do) in case you're interested in seeing what other fun things I purchased. Otherwise, click below to see all the pretty polishes I got!

Lipstick Queen - Frog Prince and Queen Bee - Swatch & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share with you guys two new Lipstick Queen lipsticks that I recently picked up; Frog Prince and Queen Bee! These lipsticks were part of my big #TreatYoSelf haul, but instead of doing one massive haul post, I thought I'd try breaking things up into smaller chunks. I will include the video of my #TreatYoSelf haul, though, in case you're interested in seeing what else I got!
Lipstick Queen is a higher end cosmetics brand that makes (almost!) exclusively lip products. The creator/founder of Lipstick Queen is a lovely woman named Poppy King: "When the eighteen year old Poppy King failed to find her perfect lipstick in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, she could have given up on lipstick altogether, but instead she took a rather different approach: she decided to create her own range of lipsticks." (which is quoted from the "About" section of the Lipstick Queen website). You can purchase Lipstick Queen products online, from Nordstrom, and from Ulta, which is where I got mine.
I'll start with Frog Prince.

Ulta Beauty Love Your Hair Event Kits - Bronze Goddess, Calling All Curls, & Protect Your Color - Unboxing & First Impressions!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! Still frantically posting; hopefully I get everything done in time!

I'm going to do something a little different with these next few posts; I have a moderately sized beauty/makeup haul I have labelled the #TreatYoSelf haul!
Instead of doing one, gigantic haul post, I thought I'd try and split things up, making a bunch of posts about just one or two items. I'll embed the Youtube video of the whole haul in each post, but I think it will be easier, both on me and you!, to make smaller, more in-depth posts.

For my first post in this series, I'm going to focus on the special hair sampler sets available from Ulta during their Love Your Hair event, going on now until May 30th. There are five different kits available and I purchased three of them: Bronze Goddess, Calling All Curls, and Protect Your Color. The price stickers say the retail value of the products inside (my sets range in value from $43 to $74) and lists the price of each kit as $20. I'm not sure if it's a promotion going on only during the event, but these kits are on "sale" for $9.99 each.

May 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Tattoo - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I'm continuing to try and post ALL THE THINGS and time is really getting away from me!

For this post, I want to share with you my May 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month (GDE OTM, respectively)!

The GDE OTM is an indie subscription service that costs $10 a month, which includes shipping. Each month you receive at least one full sized loose shadow (the "of the month") which is valued at $6, plus extras (which can either be from GDE or from other companies). Since there are only a few slots available (GDE is an independent beauty company run by the lovely Vee), it's kind of tricky to get a subscription. I believe Vee is going to launch the new OTM website soon, but I would recommend joining the Facebook group if you're interested in getting one (there's a waitlist I think you can join).
The theme this month was "Tattoo" and, since it's also Vee's birth month (I think today is her actual birthday!), she included a bunch of fun extras!

Julep May 2015 Mystery Box - Version 1 - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I apologize in advance for the probably glut of posts that I will be putting up today; I'm falling a little behind and we're going to go see family tomorrow for Memorial Day, so I want to get everything blogged so I can give my mom the items I don't want/can't use!

For this post, I want to share with you guys my Julep May 2015 Mystery Box! Julep is beauty brand that started out mainly as a nail polish and hand/nail care brand and that has expanded to include makeup, haircare, and skincare products. They have two (?) salons in Seattle and I believe they recently (or will soon) added a salon in New York.

Julep also offers a subscription service called Julep Maven where, every month, they release a new collection of nail polish and beauty items. I've been with Julep for quite a long time now, and one of the reasons why is that they let you skip a month if you don't like the colors/products, instead of forcing you to get things you don't want or need. I've been skipping months kind of frequently, and the last few mystery boxes have had some products that I wanted, so I decided to get a mystery box this month. I also had a $15 credit because someone was kind enough to use my referral link to sign up for Julep Maven, so I got some add-ons as well (you can't use the $15 credit on the actual mystery box). If you're interested in signing up, you can either go to the Julep website that I linked above, or you can use my referral link here (which I will really appreciate!
Also, I've heard that you can get your box for free (you just pay shipping) if you use someone's referral link, but I haven't tried it for myself).

May 2015 Birchbox - Cupcakes & Cashmere - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great weekend! It's been sprinkling off and on here, but the weather is pretty nice; not too cold, not too warm, not too gloomy - I'm pretty happy with it!

For this post I wanted to share with you my May 2015 Birchbox! This month's box was curated by Emily from the blog Cupcakes & Cashmere. I remember a long time ago reading the blog, but it didn't really catch my attention. The motto of the blog is "Elevate Everyday Life" which is a good motto, but sometimes, I'm just too dang lazy!
Birchbox is a $10 a month subscription service where you get about five beauty and lifestyle samples to try. Unlike Ipsy, 90% of the samples you receive will be deluxe sized samples; very rarely will you get a full sized item (though I don't think you'll ever get a foil packet as one of your five samples; you may get them for your bonus samples, though). While the value of the samples you receive tends to be lower than with Ipsy (I've always gotten at least what I paid for, though), Birchbox has a much better rewards system. For every product you receive, including any bonus samples, you can earn 10 Birchbox points for a review. Once you hit 100 points, you get $10 off anything in the Birchbox store. Basically, you're paying $5 for Birchbox to mail you some samples and then you're putting $5 away to spend in the store. On top of your points, Birchbox always has coupon codes for 20% off your order over $35 and if a brand is featured in that month's box, you get free shipping. Awesome. If you're interested in signing up for Birchbox, you can either use my referral link here (which I would appreciate greatly!) or you can just go to the Birchbox website (which is linked at the top of this paragraph).
Mmm, creamsicle orange.

May 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Jetsetter - Unbagging and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great start to your Memorial Day weekend! Unfortunately, I do work today, but I did somehow manage to get Sunday and Monday off, without even having to ask for it! Unfortunately, my husband works, so I don't think I'll be able to do anything special anyways, but it's nice to have some time to relax.

In this post, I want to share with you guys what I got in my May 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag! Ipsy is a $10 a month beauty subscription service where you get five samples/full sized products plus a unique bag that changes every month. It's one of my favorite subscription services, especially since they seem to have stepped up the quality and value of the samples over the past few months. If you're interested in signing up, you can do so at the Ipsy website, or you can use my referral link here. I will be very thankful if you do use my link, and you may benefit as well since I've heard that you get off the waitlist faster if you use someone's referral link.
The theme this month is Jetsetter, though I've found that the theme of the bag really only affects the design of the monthly bag and what kind of pictures they use on the info card.

Beauty Haul Time! - OPI, Sephora, Birchbox, and More!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I'm getting caught up on my blog posts today so I can get my desk cleared off and ready for my next haul (...which is already piling up on the floor in front of my desk)!

For this post, I have a moderately-sized, nail polish heavy, beauty haul to share. I already did an in-depth post on one of these items, but I did want to include it in the haul since I did include it in my haul video.

I'm still toying around with haul videos/posts vs. in-depth videos/posts and how I should delegate what items are included in which.

Darling Clandestine - Indie Perfume! - Haul and First Sniffs!

Hello! Hope you're all having a great day! It's cold and gloomy but I'm off of work and have some pretty and good smelling things to share with you guys!

I recently placed and received another order from Darling Clandestine, an indie fragrance company. I've been itching to try more of their products ever since I got my Don Gato solid perfume (...I don't actually wear it, but I love to smell it when I feel stressed out and anxious. It seriously smells exactly like a cat and it's very, very comforting) and I finally got some! Evonne, the owner of DC, had a mini end of spring/before summer restock and there were two items that I had to get (one of the items is technically five items!).
I'm over the moon with how awesome the scents I got are (sometimes I think I use way too many idioms in my blog posts; I actually have to stop myself sometimes); so much so that I placed another order as soon as the summer collection was released (it hasn't shipped yet, but I'm going to definitely share it with you guys when it gets here!).
I love the stamps she puts on the bubble mailers! The rooster is Jason (if you follow DC on Instagram, you get to see all the chicken and ducky goodness!) and the shark is Devon (at least I am 99% sure he is) and they amuse me greatly.

LORAC Resort Eye & Cheek Palette - Swatches and First Impressions!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! It decided to get cold again here and to crush all my hopes of it finally being summer. I don't know why I'm at all surprised, though, as this happens every. Single. May. The heat's been off in our apartment building for a little while, but they had to turn it back on. That's how cold it is.

So how fitting is it that I post about my LORAC Resort Eye & Cheek palette, a palette intended to go with you to warm, sunshiney vacation spots? Very fitting, I think! I'm not sure what the availability of this palette is; I know it was sold for a limited time online for $20 (I'm still convinced it sold for this at one point, but the retail sticker on my box says it was $15), then it was on Hautelook for $15 (I think; somewhere around there), and then it was in Nordstrom Racks for $14.97, which is where I got mine! There were about ten left when I picked mine up a couple weeks ago, so if you are still looking for this palette (if you're interested in it at all, I'd say get since it's so affordable!) you might be able to find it.
For less than $15 (at least if you get it from Nordstrom Rack), you get six eyeshadows, two blushes, a bronzer, and a highlighter. It's a great deal and the quality of the shadows and cheek products are really good, especially for the price.

Oooo pretty!

Another Beauty Haul! - Ulta, Sephora, and a Very Generous Gift of Shiseido!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I have another beauty haul to share with you guys! Not sure if I have anything I want to do a more in-depth post on this time around (just a lot of little things), but I may post a review or two after using some of these products.
Nothing too crazy this time around; this is another mostly Ulta-based haul. I'm really digging shopping at Ulta; they have a huge selection of brands and products and an awesome reward system! I did pick up a few items from Sephora during the VIB sale, though I do regret not getting more things... 15% off isn't a lot, but it's still something! The best part of this haul, though, at least in my opinion, is the very generous of gift of Shiseido that a friend of mine gave me. I knew she was going to give me some of her extra Facial Cotton, but I didn't know she was going to give me a whole gift with purchase set!
She even gave me the cosmetics pouch the gift came in! How awesome is that?

Aromaleigh Cosmetics Mini Haul - Blue Blush?! - Swatch & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day (or night, as it is here). We have a mini-tragedy on our hands right now; my husband and I (and one of his co-workers) were planning on getting some customizable froyo tonight and I thought the store was open until 10pm. Turns out their summer hours haven't started yet, so they're open to 10pm only on Fridays and Saturdays. Very sad.

In lieu of getting froyo, I'm going to share with you guys my most recent order from Aromaleigh Cosmetics! Aromaleigh has been around since 1998 and, according the About Us page on their website, I've been mispronouncing their name. Yay. (It's pronounced “Aroma-lee”).
For the month of April, Aromaleigh had a limited edition collection based on the Leshy, a "male woodland spirit in Slavic mythology who protects wild animals and forests." Included in this collection are three eye shadows and a special blue blush.
Blue blush sounded like something I needed in my life, so I purchased a deluxe sample size, along with two other eye shadows.

Best Of Becca Set - Shimmering Skin Perfectors, Beach Tint, Shimmer Souffle - Swatches & First Impressions!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to take a more in-depth look at my Best Of Becca sampler set! Becca is a mid-to-high end Australian cosmetics line and you can find it at both Sephora and Ulta.

I'm pretty sure this specific kit is no longer available, but all the products inside are part of the Becca permanent line, so I thought it would still be relevant and informative to show you guys the products in this set, along with swatches and my first impressions.

I've used a few Becca products in the past and, while this line is a little more on the expensive side, I have been very impressed! I love the Shimmering Skin Perfectors and the pressed powder foundation (I currently use the color Buttercup, which is a little too dark for my winter skin but should be perfect for summer. I just hit pan on it, however, so I'm not sure how much longer it will last me...) and have been interested in trying the pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors and Beach Tint Shimmer Souffles. The Best Of Becca set included both, along with two other products and, at $34.50, I thought it would be a great way to give them a try!
Look how gorgeous the box is; my two favorite colors to wear in the summer are coral and bronze/gold and this set has them in spades!

April 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Crazy Cat Lady - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! For this post, I wanted to share with you my April 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE when I don't want to write it all out) Of The Month (OTM for similar reasons), an indie makeup subscription service! If you've hung out on my blog (or watched my videos) for a while, you know that I love a. subscription services and b. indie makeup/beauty companies. Match made in heaven!

There are actually a few more indie subscription services that I want to try out but, since indie companies tend to be small and operated by one or two people, there is a limit to how many subscribers they can have. The GDE OTM is limited to around 120 subscribers, last I heard. I got very lucky with my GDE OTM and was able to snag a 6 month subscription. Vee, the owner of Glamour Doll Eyes, is going to be changing how the subscription service works again due to issues with a payment platform (at least that what I gleaned) so if you are interested in a chance to sign up, I would highly recommend joining the Facebook group to stay up to date on any new information.
This month I was extra happy that I had a six month subscription since it's CAT-THEMED! Crazy Cat Lady-themed, to be exact. We got three cat-themed makeup products, along with some candy and an adorable charm!
It even came in a box this month!

April 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag - Beautifully Bohemian - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I've had pizza for dinner twice in the last two days, so I'm quite happy, if a little puffy.

For this post, I want to share with you my April 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag! This month's theme was Beautifully Bohemian, which is right up my alley. Ipsy has quite up and down over the last few months and it has been so down that I had been considering cancelling, though I can never quite do it since it's kind of annoying to resign up due to the waitlist. I've heard if you sign up using a referral link (that one is mine and I get extra points if you use it so I would be very grateful if you did if you want to sign up) you get off the waitlist faster, but I don't know for sure. You can also sign up by going to the regular website.
People tend to compare their Ipsy Glam Bags and Birchboxes since both are beauty subscription services that cost $10 a month and this month, I have to say that Ipsy wins in terms of product relevancy and enjoyment (though Birchbox is still king (queen?) when it comes to rewards).
Even the bag this month was super cute and very much "beautifully bohemian"!

April 2015 Birchbox - Fresh For Spring - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! It's still a bit chilly here in the mornings, but it's getting nice and warm by the afternoon, so we're on our way to summer! Until it snows in May. Which has happened.

For this post, I wanted to share with you my April 2015 Birchbox (this is my referral link so if you signup using it I get rewards, but you can also go to the regular website to sign up)! This month's theme was Fresh For Spring, though you wouldn't have known that unless you went to the website (which I assume you did because one of the main reasons to be subscribed to Birchbox is to earn points for reviewing your samples to get money off of products). Birchbox partnered with the Rifle Paper Co. this month and made that more of the focus of the box (at least in design).
And wow, did it end up being a very pretty box! I think I say this every month, but I'm really digging all the different box designs this year. Packaging is important to me (though I don't want to sacrifice quality or value just for packaging), so I appreciate the attention to details.
I also loved the seafoam green-blue color of the mailing box! I forget what they called me this month, but they are continuing with the special, random titles before your name on your shipping address which, again, is a great attention to detail. Unfortunately, despite the pretty packaging, this ended up being one of my more disappointing boxes...

Zoya BOGO Haul! - Spring 2015 Delight Collection Plus Extras! - Swatch and Review

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! This post is going to be a closer look at my recent Zoya BOGO haul. I told myself I didn't need to buy any more nail polish, but on the very last day of the sale I caved in and bought eight polishes, which was the maximum you could buy for the the BOGO deal (you could get up to four polishes for fee). Along with the BOGO, Zoya also offered free shipping on orders $35+, and since four polishes equals $ worked out pretty perfectly.
I love ordering from Zoya; you get so many goodies! I got five out of the six colors from the Spring 2015 Delight collection along with three other polishes that have been waiting on my wishlist.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush - Candy Glow - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I wanted to take a little more in-depth look at my Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in the color Candy Glow!
At first I was like, "Too Faced isn't that old!" then I realized they will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2018 and now I feel super old. This blush normally retails for $30, but I got mine on sale during Ulta's 21 Days Of Beauty for $15 (less including point discounts).

A Mostly Beauty-Related Haul! - Ulta, Zoya, Urban Outfitters, and More!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! It's sunny outside, but it's cold again. It feels like Fall v2.0, even though it's supposed to be spring. It even snowed again yesterday, though it melted right away. Still. Unacceptable.

So I'm going to stay inside and pretend that the sunshine means it's warm out and catch up on my posting! I have another haul for you guys; there were a lot of good deals available (when aren't there, though?) and I had a Sally's membership to renew!
There are a few things I'm going to make individual, more in-depth posts on (such as the Becca kit and the Zoya polishes), but if you want a quick overview of some neat, new things I picked up at the start of April, then please click below! Spoiler: I bought a lot of face masks.

Maybelline Spring 2015 Rebel Bloom Color Tattoos - Rose Riot, Hydrangea Hype, and Black Orchid - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I've been sitting on this post for a while now (for no good reason) and now it's probably not all the relevant because I don't think you can get these products anymore. BUT! On the off-chance that someone spots these for sale online or in a makeup swap group or something, I figure it would still be a semi-useful thing to post. Plus, I took a lot of pictures and I don't want them to go to waste...

As the title suggests, I wanted to share with you guys some swatches and thoughts on three of the limited edition spring 2015 Rebel Bloom collection Color Tattoos by Maybelline! To the best of my knowledge, this was a very limited collection; most stores had displays that had two, maybe three of each color and they never seemed to get restocked. There are a total of colors in this collection, but since I purchased mine from Ulta, I only got three of them (the other two were sold at other stores): Rose Riot, Hydrangea Hype, and Black Orchid.
One of my favorites from the "offend everyone in four words" tag: "Limited edition, sold out".

Haul Time! Lots of Ulta, Some Forever21, and a Little Sephora!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! This post is such a long time coming...I hate when I put blog posts off since I don't feel like I can use my new goodies until I finish writing about them!

So let's get to this haul! All the title suggests, this is a very Ulta-based haul. I'm finding myself preferring Ulta over Sephora (as opposed to the other way around like last year), specifically for the rewards program. Both companies offer rewards based on a points system, but where Sephora lets you trade in points to get deluxe-size samples (or special kits), Ulta gives you money off basically anything in the store. I used to prefer the deluxe samples over money off since I prefer using sample-size products, but now, because of my subscription services, I'm flush with samples and now like the flexibility of money off.

Ulta also recently had their 21 Days Of Beauty, which is like a three week long semi-annual event where there are special one-day deals (or until supplies last, which isn't too long). I took advantage of some of those deals, along with some of the neat stuff that's now (or was) on clearance!

Sephora Favorites - The Great Cleanse Set - Review!

Hello! Hope you're all having a great day! I apologize for the long break between posting (again...); my cold apparently never went away and now it's back for round two. Also, it snowed. In April. So that was a thing. Better than the unfortunate, tornado-filled weather elsewhere, though.

For this post, I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the Sephora Favorites The Great Cleanse set (available here). This set is made up of twelve different sample and travel sized face-cleaning products including makeup removers, cleansing waters, and cleansing oils. It costs $48 and has an estimated retail value of $126. And, spoiler alert, I think you need to buy this set. Like, right now if possible. It is absolutely worth the $48 and you get a great variety of useful products! The only reason why I could see someone not needing/wanting to purchase this set is if they already found their holy grail cleansers and don't want to try anything else ever.
I, however, love to try new things and there are some awesome things in this set to try! Admittedly, I haven't tried everything in this set yet (though I have tried more now since I made my video), but I wanted to share my thoughts on the products I have tried and give you a little more information on each of the products, including sample sizes and values (many of which are actually purchasable travel sizes).

March 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes Of The Month - Indie Subscription - Unboxing & Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! It seemed like spring had sprung here, but alas, we still have some chilly weather to slog through unfortunately.

For this post, I wanted to share with you my March 2015 Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE from here on out) Of The Month (OTM from here on out)! I got mine a little late last month due to post office concerns (I feel bad throwing the post office under the bus since my husband worked as a letter carrier for a while and it's a pretty demanding job, but lately it just seems like they don't really care anymore and I've had more issues with getting packages delivered than I care to deal with), but it came and it was totally worth the wait!

The GDE OTM is a monthly subscription service offered by the indie cosmetics company Glamour Doll Eyes. GDE is one of my favorite indie companies because Vee, the owner/creator, runs a tight ship and my orders are processed and received quickly and efficiently and the formulation of her products is top notch, especially for the price! This subscription is $10 a month (which includes shipping!) and includes a special, full size eyeshadow made exclusively for that month along with some other goodies. Along with some candy!
It's a great subscription service and is very popular; so popular, in fact, that there are very few spots open each month and you have to enter a raffle (which you can do at the OTM website) in order to win a chance to purchase a subscription.

LORAC AlterEgo Lipstick - Goddess - Swatch and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great day! I wanted to do a quick post about my LORAC AlterEgo lipstick in the color Goddess!
My friend got this lipstick for me for Valentine's Day; I knew I already loved the LORAC AlterEgo lipsticks since I got the Kohl's exclusive set and someone on Youtube commented on one of my videos suggesting I try the color Goddess. So, when my friend asked me what color I wanted, I didn't hesitate asking for Goddess.
