Stay Tuned For More Hauling! - Sephora, Ulta, Julep, e.l.f., and More!

Hello! Whew I haven't posted in a while...which means it's about time for a haul! I'm again in that lull between subscription boxes so what do I do? Order things online because I love getting packages! Though it is kind of an addiction so I need to be careful...I might actually put myself on a no-buy (technically, it will be a "I'm allowed to only buy these certain things" since I have a list of things I "need") but July in my birth month which means exciting birthday gifts!
Sexy bag shot! Except not really, but I thought it would be fun to open with a non-box...

Haul Time! - Sephora, Ulta, Target and More!

Hello! Be forewarned, this post is probably going to be really, really long. I have a lot of things to show and talk about; my desk area is getting cluttered and out of hand! No opening banter here, I want to get right to it! This is going to be a big collective haul over the last few weeks from the usual suspects: Sephora, Ulta, Target, MAC, and a few extras.

I'm going to start with my Sephora orders because I like starting with box shots!

Double box shot bonus time!

My Very First e.l.f. Cosmetics Order - First Impressions!

Hello! Yup, another post today! Still Father's Day, still gorgeous outside, and I'm still sitting inside at my computer because that's what I like to do with my life. I did actually go out today and spent some time at the mall, so I'm not a complete shut in...

I bought my very first e.l.f. cosmetics makeup! I have a few of their brushes from the Studio line (and I really like them!), but I've never used any of their makeup products. People speak very highly of e.l.f. products (most of them, anyways. Like any cosmetic company, they have their hits and misses) and all their products are very affordable. I was browsing the e.l.f. website and they were having a deal where you could get a Summer Siren set worth $28 for just $3 with any $25 dollar purchase. The Summer Siren set included a baked eyeshadow palette, one of the items I was interested in trying, so I figured now was a good a time as any to place an order! I ended up spending $35 to get free shipping because as you guys know, I hate paying for shipping.
I love a full box of makeup!

June 2014 Rainbow Honey Mini Mystery Bag! - Unbagging and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having an excellent day (or night or whenever, I don't discriminate based on time)! I have a good amount of posting I need to do, so let's get to it!

This post is all about the June 2014 Rainbow Honey Mini Mystery Bag! This is a newer subscription service (though you can buy the bags individually without having to subscribe; right now there's no real benefit to subscribing besides guaranteeing you'll get a bag, but I might actually sign up since I really like this mystery bag!) from Rainbow Honey, an indie nail polish company that's branching out into other cosmetics. You can get the mini size (like mine) for $10 a month plus about $4 shipping, or you can opt for the full size for $25 plus shipping (which I think is $4, too, but I'm not sure). I believe both bags have the same items, you just get the full sizes in the $25 bag.
It comes packaged so cute!

June 2014 Ipsy Bag! - Unbagging and Review!

Hello! Hope you're having a great Father's Day! It was supposed to be super rainy and stormy today, but it ended up being sunny and nice! I'm a little sad, though, since my parents were going to come down and visit us yesterday to avoid the predicted bad weather of today, but it ended up not working out since it stormed yesterday. I know Meteorology isn't an exact science, but it can definitely be frustrating.

For this post, I want to show what I got in my June 2014 Ipsy bag! This is my favorite subscription service; it's only $10 a month, shipping included, and I always feel like I get my money's worth!
The pink mailer of happiness!

Julep Memorial Day 2014 Mystery Box #4! - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you guys are having a good day! It's rainy and gloomy here (I think it was last weekend, too...) so I'm staying indoors and getting some blogging/vlogging done!

For this post, I'm going to show you guys what I got in my Julep Memorial Day 2014 Mystery Box #4! I kind of stopped getting Julep mystery boxes since I have so many Julep polishes and products and always get dupes and super old, ugly colors. Enough people complained and Julep seems to have stepped up the quality of their boxes, which is great. Unfortunately, you never really get as much as you think you will since, when Julep calculates the value of their mystery boxes, they use the full retail value of the products. Julep is one of those companies where you never, ever want to pay full price for anything since A. Mavens get 20% off everything in general and B. everything will go on sale eventually.

For Memorial Day, Julep offered...6 (actually, I just heard that there were 10...)? I think different mystery boxes, in their different price tiers! They also revealed one to two products included in each box, which was what got my attention and lead me to purchase one. #1 and #2 were $40ish and had $100+ "value", #3 and #4 were $25ish and had $60+ value (I think, I don't remember 100%), and #5 and #6 (and beyond!) were $10-$15 and were worth $30 (again, I'm only 95% sure about this). The two products that were revealed for box #4 were the Vanish cuticle softener and remover and the cuticle pusher, which are two products I don't have and wanted to try, and since the two products are worth about $22 on their own, I figured why not!
Check out this super, fancy box!

June 2014 Blush.com Mystery Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! I'm so happy it's finally the weekend! This week has been a bit up and down and I really just need a few days to unwind and decompress. I got all my adult responsibilities done so I don't have anything pressing to attend to this weekend (besides possibly cleaning the bathtub, but that won't take too long since it's still relatively clean; it's more of a maintenance thing) besides making a bunch of videos and/or blog posts.

For this post, I'm going to talk about my June 2014 Blush.com Mystery Beauty Box! This is a $24.95 a month subscription box (shipping included) in which you are guaranteed at least $100 worth of makeup, skin care, and hair care products (also some wellness stuff, too. I got vibrated water once!). You can also purchase single boxes for $34.95 which, while you still get your money's worth, I don't think is a good idea when you can save $10 by subscribing. Overall, I like this subscription service, though there have been some recent hiccups that have slightly tainted my good opinion of it. This box, however, was great!

It's a bag! In a box!

Sephora Favorites Summer Crushes Kit - Review!

Hello! It's all rainy and gross today, so I've been staying inside and getting a bunch of things done! I feel bad for my husband, though, since he had to go out and work today in rain (he's home now, but his socks and shoes were sopping wet). I was able to get a couple videos filmed, which means I can make a few blog posts and get my desk area nice and clean (...it gets out of hand really easily). I've also noticed that I don't really use products when they're sitting around my desk and then I forget I have them and then I buy more things and end up with way too much stuff. It's a weird, first world problem...

For this post I'm going to do an in-depth review of the Sephora Favorites Summer Crushes Kit! I love the Sephora Favorites sets since I love deluxe sample/mini sizes of products and trying new things. This review took me a little while to post since I wanted to make sure I was able to at least try all of the products (though there is one I still haven't used) and have a well-informed opinion.
Summer lovin', had me a blast...

More Hauling! - Sephora, Ulta, MAC, and Target!

Hello! Hope you're having a great June! It's been warm and sunny this week so far, and I've been taking advantage of the great weather and going for walks over my lunch break at work! I've been having a hard time with staying motivated and happy at work and I think part of it is feeling so cooped up at my desk; after we moved offices in January, I lost my big windows so I spend 8+ hours staring at my computer or a beige wall. Neat.

I have another haul for you guys! There's always so many great deals out there that I want to take advantage of...I do have to stop purchasing so much, though. I'm at a point of saturation with my makeup collection and am now considering doing a Project 10 Pan type of thing. We'll have to see, though. At the very least, I'm going to try and cut back my spending to only the items I "need" like foundation and concealer and limited edition stuff that I will probably die if I don't get.

That being said, let's get to the haul! I went to a bunch of different places and got a large variety of items, so hopefully this will be an interesting read.
Box shot!

June 2014 Julep Maven Box - Classic With A Twist Plus Add-Ons! - Unboxing And Review!

Hello! I can't believe it's June already! It's been kind of a crummy weekend weather-wise, but it's nice to finally have a summery mindset. I'm also pretty pumped since my wedding anniversary is in June; tomorrow (6/2) in fact! It's been two great years already and I looked forward to many more! I like exclamation points, apparently. I think I've even mentioned this before, but it's so hard to convey emotions through text so I tend to use excessive punctuation.

For this post, I want to show you guys my June 2914 Julep Maven box! I went with the Classic With A Twist box this month and, if you added on three products, you got a free special surprise gift. So...I added on three products!
A box full of fun!
