Haul Time! - Estee Lauder, MAC, Victoria's Secret, H&M, and Julep!

Hello! Shocked at how many posts I'm getting up in a single day? Me too! I'm really happy I am blazing through these, though. It was getting a little chaotic around my desk...

As the of this post suggests, this is a haul post! I went shopping with my mom and sister at our big mall and I found some great deals! I also bought some things that I've been really wanting to try, so overall it was a good haul!

I don't really have an interesting picture to tempt you to click more, so I suppose I can just plead with you to please click below to see all the fun things I got!

Some Random Toys I've Gotten! - Monster High, My Little Pony, Zelfs

Hello! Today is "Do ALL The Things" type of day, so I am just getting these posts up left and right! Which is good, since I had fallen a little behind and my space around my computer was getting cluttered (I like to keep things out until I blog about them).

This is a random, most likely short little post about some of the toys I have picked up! I'm not very good at taking pictures of things like this since I never know if I'm going to actually post about it or not (I fall so far behind on things like my subscription boxes that I don't feel like making a post that aren't about those things). I really do want to make other posts that aren't just "look at my subscription box!" since there are a lot of them out there and some boxes, like the Blush.com Mystery Beauty Box, don't gave out different items (well, I suppose they do since sometimes you can get different colors of things).

I got a few Monster High dolls, some more My Little Pony blind bags, and this weird little thing called a "Zelf!" I don't have a video about these, but click below if you want to read more and see what I got!

Angelic Pretty 2014 Lucky Pack - Candy Sprinkle JSK Set - Unboxing/Unbagging!

Hello! Hope you guys are doing well! I'm really blasting through my blogging backlog today; it's very exciting! I'm not sure why I'm so motivated, but I won't question it.

For this post, I'm going to show you guys my 2014 Lucky Pack (also called a Fukubukuro) from Angelic Pretty! I was lucky enough to get a Candy Sprinkle JSK Set in the color lavender from the San Francisco Angelic Pretty; I think this set in this colorway sold out in like 15-20 minutes! I was really sad last year when I missed out on the Dream Fantasy sets, which I think sold out in like six minutes...

Just some quick, basic info (I don't want to go too in-depth, otherwise this post will get long and boring) about Angelic Pretty and lucky packs: Angelic Pretty is a brand of clothing from Japan that specializes in a fashion called "Lolita". It's basically wearing frilly, elegant dresses. There are plenty of good resources of information about lolita fashion online, but I do want to make the disclaimer that it does not have anything to do with the novel "Lolita" (which is a very, very good book so read it). Lucky packs are something that a lot of Japanese companies do around the New Years (and some also do them at different times, like the Meta summer packs) to help clear out old stock and make room for the new! Lucky packs are a great way to save money since you get a lot more value (usually) than what you pay. The only catch is, you don't always know what's going to be in the bags so you might end up with stuff you don't want.

Some brands will release "lucky bags" where you know what everything inside is. These are somewhat less fun (surprises!) but since you know exactly what you're getting, there's not really any chance you'll be disappointed. This lucky pack from Angelic Pretty is this latter type; they revealed everything that was in it.

This pack ended up costing me around $220, which, while being a bit more expensive than if I had bought a pack from Japan (this set was about $160 in Japan and the San Francisco store sold them for $200 plus $22 for shipping. After adding EMS shipping and PayPal fees and what not, the prices are about even) was still totally worth it. Jumperskirts alone can sell for more than $200 new and in this set I was getting five things: an original, made-only-for-this-lucky-pack print JSK, a blouse, a headbow, matching socks, and a bag. There were three different colorways (pink, black, and lavender), as well as a more expensive set with a different style of JSK, a different style of blouse, a cardigan, a bonnet, a coat, a bag, and matching socks, a salopette set which included a salopette, cutsew (a hooded long-sleeved shirt), barrette (is that really how it's spelled? It looks weird), socks, and a smaller bag. There was also a non-print set which indluded a JSK, blouse, headbow, socks, and bag which would have been cute, but I didn't want to push my luck.
Everything came wrapped in plastic inside of this super cute tote!

January 2014 Blush.Com Mystery Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review

Hello! I hope you're all doing well and having a great start to the New Year! I'm going to jump right on in to the post since I want to get this up and ready to go as quickly as I can (since it's be sitting around for a while and I am slightly embarrassed by my level of procrastination).

This post is going to be all about my January 2014 Blush.com Mystery Beauty Box! The Blush.com Mystery Beauty Box is a box that you can either buy one time (for $34.95) or subscribe to (for $24.95 a month). I prefer subscribing since it saves $10, but if you're cautious and just want to get one box, you'd still be getting a great deal since you're guaranteed over $100 worth of product (also you can wait to see what's in the box so you'll know if you'll even like it or not). Shipping is included, though you may have to pay tax on it (I do, now. I didn't before, but then Target apparently bought blush.com, hairenvy.com, and dermstore.com in October so now I do). You also get two free sample with your order (like you would with any other order from blush.com).

This months box was...interesting. It was a little dull and I was initially kind of "meh" about it, but it's grown on me and, after using some of the products, I'm pretty content with it. I didn't get a "box shot", so I don't have one for my opening picture, so I'll use the info card instead!
This shows the featured product for the month of January 2014, the Le Edge exfoliator!

January 2014 Julep Maven Box - Bombshell Plus Add-On - Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Hope you're all doing well (and still here...it's been a while now. The selection window for the February Maven box opened up yesterday already...)! As the title says, this post is going to be all about my January 2014 Julep Maven Box!

This month kind of threw me for a loop; I wasn't expecting the theme nor the type of colors that were selected for the collection. Normally I associate January with either tropical/resort themes and colors or "let's just accept that it's winter and do all blues, whites, and silvers" type of theme and colors. At first I was a little disappointed; I felt like I already had a lot of similar colors and nothing was very innovative or interesting. Then I got my polishes and realized how wrong I was!
If you want to see what I got, and what I thought about it, please keep reading!

December 2013 Ipsy Bag - (A Very Late...) Unboxing and Review!

Hello! Welcome to 2014! I'm pretty excited to be here, if for no other reason than I don't have to write "2013" when I write the date anymore (I have mild triskaidekaphobia so it was a struggle). Well, that and the fact that I'm still alive is pretty exciting, too, but I wasn't expecting it to be otherwise.

Is this my first post of 2014? I can't actually remember if my last holiday haul post made it in before hand or not. I know I started it before 2014, but I don't think it posted in time. As a first post of 2014, this is a little disappointing considered how late I am... As the title says, this is my December 2013 Ipsy bag unboxing/unbagging! I got this way back in December, before Christmas, but I haven't gotten around to getting a blog post written about it.

For those of you who don't know, Ipsy is a $10 a month subscription where you get a cute make-up bag filled with five products. They're mostly drugstore/mid-range and lately have been almost all full sized. Overall, I think Ipsy is a great value and a really fun way to give yourself a little surprise treat every month.
What came in this month's pink bubble mailer? Let's find out!

Yet Another Holiday Haul! - Sephora, Julep, and Fortune Cookie Soap!

Hello! Hope you all had a great holiday! I had a lot of fun with my friends and family, but it was pretty exhausting and now I'm feeling under the weather. BUT, at least it waited until after Christmas to manifest itself, so I can't complain too much. It should be no surprise by now, but I'm falling behind on my blog posts again. Sad. I actually purchased these items far before Christmas (my FCS order was made Black Friday, but it took a bit of time to get to me, which is fine. They warned people that due to the demand, orders could take up to two weeks just to get sent out), and I do have a video that I got up in a timely manner, but I put off blogging about it for many, mostly lame reasons.

But no worries because we're going to talk about it now! Yay! This haul will include an order from Sephora, an order from Julep, and my Black Friday order from Fortune Cookie Soap.

I'll start with my Julep order because it's the smallest and kind of sad...
